Hello, my name is Ravi Singh. I am a teacher in the TDSB for the past 28 years. I completed an honours degree in mathematics, statistics and actuarial science at the University of Toronto. I have taught every math course in the Ontario curriculum, many times over.

Grade 11 Functions
Functions and transformations, quadratics, exponentials, trigonometry and sequences — the course that decides how Grade 12 goes.
Advanced Functions
Polynomial, rational, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, rates of change, and the algebra habits MCV4U depends on.
Calculus & Vectors
Limits, derivatives, curve sketching, related rates and optimization, plus vectors, lines and planes in three dimensions.
IB Mathematics
Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation at SL and HL, including internal assessment support and Paper 1–3 preparation.
How I work
Most students who come to me are not bad at math — they are missing two or three specific prerequisites. The first session is spent finding them. After that, sessions follow the course, week by week.

- I have written curriculum for all senior mathematics courses and authored several course manuals. Students work from resources built for the Ontario expectations, not generic worksheets.
- Sessions use the student's own work
- We go through their notes, returned tests and upcoming assessments. Homework help, unit review and full exam preparation all happen against the real course, not a parallel program.
